A city of approximately 35,200, St. Cloud has a moderate crime rate when compared with the U.S. average, the most common crimes being thefts, burglaries, and assaults. At Adams, Luka, & Benton, our criminal defense attorneys realize that any criminal charge can leave you feeling uncertain about your future, career, and other aspects of your life, even if you have been arrested for DUI or are under investigation for a possible drug offense. Certainly some crimes are more serious or violent than others, and incur harsher criminal penalties for those convicted. Still, any conviction can leave you with a criminal record and possibly ruin your career and reputation. No matter what your situation is, we can help. We invite you to contact our office immediately at (407) 872-0307.
You may be completely innocent of the allegations against you; many people do sit behind bars, convicted of crimes they did not commit. Juveniles often commit crimes due to peer pressure, not realizing the possible implications or damage to their lives. Others find themselves in a bad situation, and may commit a crime unwittingly. Even those who do commit a criminal offense purposely have legal rights that must be protected. A conviction for a crime may result in prison time, substantial fines, probation, community service, and other punishment depending on the crime committed, the severity of the crime, and the defendant's criminal history. For many, the most troubling consequences of a conviction include the impact on career, and loss of standing in the community. With more than 30 years of combined experience, our St. Cloud criminal defense attorneys are skilled, capable, and dedicated to reaching good results in your case.

I would like thank my attorney Thomas Luka. I knew from the beginning I had the right guy in my corner. While celebrating with family and friends at a Public Park in Seminole County, a fight broke out among various people. Myself, and a good friend, broke up the fight and the instigators left. Six months later, I was wrongly accused as the person who started the fight. The first attorney I hired could not even get a response from the State Attorney handling the case. Someone referred me to Tom and I felt comfortable at his demeanor and reactions.
After conversations with Tom, who knew I would settle for nothing less than a FULL DISMISSAL due to my innocence, I hired him. His firm Adams, Luka, & Benton did the due diligence by interviewing witnesses and the police who were on the scene, as well as starting a dialogue with the State Attorney. After gathering statements from witnesses, Tom was able to present a strong argument on my behalf to the State Attorney on why the case should be dismissed. If the State Attorney was not willing to dismiss the case, Tom was ready to take the case to trial.
The result by Thomas Luka: Case Dismissed.
I am 53 years old with a spotless record and glad to keep it that way thanks to the time, effort, hard work, and professionalism of Adams, Luka, & Benton.
